FEATURE IN PRODUCTION

We officially kicked off production on the feature film in May 2025 (after two year of work editing the voice-over narration). We have been hard at work ever since and expect to have a finished film ready for film festival applications by Summer, 2026!

NEW YORK TIMES & NPR

View From the Floor is in The New York Times! The short film was acquired by NYT’s Op-Docs series and premiered on their site on February 27th, 2025, where it will live in perpetuity. Those without a NYT subscription can watch the film on their YouTube channel. The NYT’s reach is vast and the response has been huge and so gratifying. Mindie & Megan were also recently interviewed on Seattle NPR station KUOW to talk about the film’s journey thus far.
